Planning a large scale wedding inspired shoot, in times dominated by COVID, seemed somehow inappropriate. Dahlias are such country garden type flowers, but twinned with minimal foliage in these modern vessels from Zara, kept the look contemporary. We worked with two dresses. One a gorgeous simple silk sheath dress from Rembo Styling. For the other, with some brides choosing to keep their wedding dress for a bigger celebration, or with their chosen dress not yet ready, we picked white summer dress as a High St. alternative. Coloured linens – the dusty pink linen tablecloth completely lifts the tablescape – and was an inexpensive purchase from H&M. Simple menu cards on each place setting, and a flower, add that special touch without breaking the bank. To jazz up your cocktails or drinks add edible flowers, or herbs into the ice-cubes. Prettiness and flavour combined! Blankets spread around the lawn, cushions added to the relaxed vibe.
